I’m glad I bought the larger size as I intend using …
I bought this item for our pet dog. While it’s adult weight will be around 7 Kg, I bought the intermediate size even though the medium size seemed adequate. However, I’m glad I bought the larger size as I intend using it within our home and feel that it offers plenty of space given that it will be in everyday use as a bed. As for the kennel/carrier itself, I bought one of these Petmate ones many years ago and found it ideal, both as a temporary pet carrier and as a kennel. l bought this one though for long-term use, and while some might feel it a bit pricey, I believe it represents good value for money. I recommend this item to anyone with similar needs.

Good sturdy crate used for puppy car travel
Used as car dog crate strapped into the back seat and it works really well. No likelihood of my puppy escaping to damage himself or the car. Added a fan angel through the bars to help improve ventilation on hotter days. Not cheap but worth it.

Good Quality
This is a great quality item. Easy to assemble, larger than I imagined but my dog has adopted this as a safe space to curl up anytime during the day. Fast delivery, a HUGE box but better to be packaged well than damaged.

Safe and secure
I bought one of these for my Staffy to go into my Chrysler Grand Voyager and it’s certainly the answer. It’s very easy to assemble and dissemble (if necessary), is very light for it’s size and doesn’t warp or twist at all and the door security is certainly strong. The dog can see all round so there’s no sudden surprise of something arriving at the door without her knowing and she goes straight into it when we go out, so there’s no anxiety attached to her travelling in it. All in all a valuable asset.

Vari kennel intermediate
Very well made, but a bit expensive, the intermediate was the right size for my king charles cavalier. The catch on doors a bit fiddly but you get used to it, I would recomend it and the seller.
