It is the perfect size for giant, double-coated breeds that struggle in the hot summer weather.What I Liked:Perfect Giant Size: Finding a mat big enough for my 45kg German Shepherd (Loki) is tough, but the Extra Large (120x75cm) size gives him plenty of room to stretch out.Instant Cooling Action: The pressure-activated gel works instantly without needing water or a fridge. Loki loves lying on it when itβs hot, especially with his Dyson fan pointing at him!Sturdy and Eco-Friendly: The mat feels very durable and well-made. Strong and cool

Itβs ok. I canβt feel it being cool. But I stick it in the fridge to make it cold and thatβs working very well for myself and for my dog! I recommend you try this!

Best product Iβve come across so far
I bought the XXL mat and itβs brilliant! My dog is a 23kg golden Labrador βValentineβ so a big boy. See my photo showing him laying on the mat – you could have two of him laying on it; thereβs plenty of room. My pointer sometimes shares it with Valentine otherwise he just sprawls out and enjoys it for himself. Even in the heat of the day, bright sunshine the mat stays cool – I specifically tested it for when the sun moves round my garden. Very happy! Would highly recommend 10/10

Not just for dogs!
It works on pressure so as your dog sits on it, it gets cold. My dog wonβt use it despite me calling it his bed and treats when he does sit on it! So in this heat Iβve been using it. I put it on my bed and fall asleep on it. It is cold but if you stay still that cold does wear off until you move again

I’ve bought this product three times in 6 years because I can’t find anything better!
All these cooling mats wear out but this one is one of the better ones. I keep them in the fridge which might be damaging them but it makes them a lot more effective and my dog is 75Kg with thick long fur so I don’t worry about “cold burns”.I’ve bought this product three times in 6 years because I can’t find anything better despite trying many other brands.One tip for dog owners trying to fight the heat is to fill those plastic takeaway containers full of water and freeze them. I put one of these out for my dog and she licks it like an ice cream. You have to be careful to make sure they don’t swallow ice so this is safe as it is too big to swallow even for large dogs. Remember they use the blood vessels in their tongue to cool down while panting so this works well.

Works but received an item that had been sent back and stained
Dog loves it, keeps her really cool! The only disappointing thing is, itβs clearly been returned as it has mud stains all over it! Overall happy that it works but disappointed that you pay full price for an item that is second hand and dirty!
