An excellent crate.
This transport crate is everything I hoped for. Not too heavy, sturdy feel to the materials, simple to assemble (once I’d found a YouTube vid of a Frenchman assembling one – my French isn’t great but I could see what he was doing). Only mystery is eight carefully shaped pieces, clearly intended to fit the outside corners of the crate but with no mention in either the (rather useless) written instructions or shown in the French video. I’d love to know what they could be for, if anyone has any clue?The other point, that a number of people made in their comments was about the supply (or not) of wheels. It might be helpful to say that, by ordering the XL size (90-60-74cms) I did receive the wheels with the crate. I assume you won’t get the wheels if you order one of the smaller sizes of box.An unexpected plus about this design is that I imagine it’ll be made easy to introduce my dog into it because, without the top half it makes a tempting nest for her to just walk into. Then I’ll be able to move on to putting the lid on and seeing how happily she’ll still get in. Then can install the door and leave open. Finally, can close the door. So by stages, I doubt there’ll be any stress. Fingers crossed I’m right!Finally, the one negative, really a criticism for the packagers, is that on delivery the cardboard box’s top had caved in and was a gaping hole. I was worried bits would be missing or there’d be damage but actually everything was in perfect order inside.

One of the best, if not the best, pet transport box available
When I used to take my cat to the vet for occasional examination, vaccination and treatment I used to pay a deposit in order to use one of their carrier boxes to take my pet to and from their premises. This effectively trebled my journey, with all the toing and froing, and so I decided that it was about time I purchased my own cat carrier to shorten such trips, have some way to transport my pet as and when needed, and temporarily keep her safe and secure if a disaster, such as a house fire, occurred which necessitated abandoning our home for however long.Reading horror stories online about cat boxes falling apart, allowing animals to escape and sometimes come to harm, I decided that what I needed was a really strong, well built, safe, top quality pet carrying box which I could trust completely and which couldn’t possibly fail me: after a lot of reading online I eventually opted for a small size Karlie Nomad transport box for my large 6 kg tortoiseshell and white companion. Not the cheapest on the market but turning out to be absolutely brilliant. Of German design this transport box was everything I required. Plenty big enough to house my cat; robustly constructed with a strong carrying handle; well ventilated and held together not only by five durable plastic clips but also by an additional four steel bolts and wing nuts. No possible danger of a container like this ever falling to pieces. The door grille was made of strong shiny metal and sported an excellent spring loaded lock, easily opened and closed, that was either fully locked or unlocked, meaning that there was no danger of a improperly or partially locked door opening inadvertently and allowing a nervous animal to escape while in transit.Sheer perfection. This was EVERYTHING that I could possibly want or expect in a cat transport carrier. It isn’t the cheapest carrier on the market offering safety and security to loved animals in transit, that it really is worth paying a little bit extra for such superlative quality.Highly recommended; purchase with confidence.

Strong and secure
Product arrived on time and was very easy to assemble. It is very secure and held together perfectly despite a very reluctant 7kg Bengal thrashing around in it. The door closing mechanism is great, even a clever cat wouldn’t be able to undo it.

Small size, Bought for 2 kittens, great quality.
I bought the small size, as it is similar dimensions to our curver covered cat litter box. It is a good size for our 2 kittens but as they grow bigger I think I will either have to buy another one this size or a medium size if they still want to travel together. It arrived quickly, but with some assembling required, which I wasn’t aware of. Generally it was very easy to assemble the cage door and securing bolts, although the side clips were a touch tricky until I realised if you lay the carrier on its side, it’s easy peasy. Inside there is almost enough room to lay a standard pillow flat. The cats seem to like it. We have only used it for visits to the vet so far, but it is very secure and the pre assembled lock on the door is excellent. It comes with a removable dish that clips firmly on the door. The plastic is of very tough, thick quality. Very pleased. Thank you.

Strong carrier.
I bought this to transport a small dog. It is sturdy and well made. Parts of it were easy to assemble, but I had to fiddle to try and fit the side catches on it. However, the carrier can be used without them, but I did manage to fit them in the end and once in place, they don’t need to be removed. It makes the carrier doubly secure. The metal door is of good strong quality which means no animal could scratch its way out. It is lightweight too so it will be used regularly. Very pleased with the product. Just be careful with the sizing as the interior is a few cms smaller than the overall dimensions.

You get what you pay for but it IS heavy…
These are WAY better transport boxes than the rubbish you buy from a famous brand of petshop (green logo) where we wasted way too much money on their “top of the range” flimsy plastic travelling cage.Strong, rigid with lockable catches etc.Our criticisms (or suggestions for future improvements) are these:-Fixed loops to use to help secure the box in a vehicle during transport.-A secondary lock to double-secure the cage door.-Wheels on even the smaller boxes – because our two dogs, small though they may be, make the box VERY heavy and unweildly, even the “small” sized box – which doesn’t come with wheels.-Making it lighter if this is possible.-Having a metal handle (stronger?)Good but not yet great.

Good all round travel box
The handles are a great asset. Perfect for transporting a small dog or cat. The advantage for cats is that it is big enough to also put a litter tray in and yet is moveable by one person.

The crate itself is good but we weren’t impressed with the state it arrived in.
Our puppy is happy in this crate for long journeys. However a big complaint is that it arrived smelling of urine, which we assumed was rat pee from where it was stored. We needed it straight away so we didn’t have time to request a different one. Once we’d disinfected the crate thoroughly, we were happy with it.

Safe secure and easy to assemble!
After spending a LONG time reading all the reviews on many many cat travel boxes I decided to go with this one. It got my cat form London to Canada with no issues and was completely safe and sercure. The water bowl it comes with did fall off but that was it. We did have some bad weather and turbulence on the 10 hour flight so this could have been why.

Very well made!
A very sturdy cat box. I bought the small size for a very large fully grown Bengal cat, it is plenty big enough for him to stand easily, sir erect or lay comfortable. The carrier is very secure even my home grown Houdini hasn’t forced his way out. The screws make it extra secure meaning my 7kg cat is held safe. Very impressed so far!

My dog loves it! Perfect for moving to America.
I’m moving to Minnesota next year to close distance with my fiancé and of course can’t leave my best friend behind! He loves his new crate and slept in it every night since I bought it. I’m glad he’s going to be comfortable in it when we travel over.

Robust and easy to handle.
I took this on the ferry to Cherbourg, France to collect 2 dogs. Both Swedish Lapphunds. One 3 months old and the other 16 months and fully grown. Both settled into the box very well. Had to stay there for 2 days as ferries were cancelled due to severe storm but dogs were quite happy to go in on a nighttime. Wheeled easily through terminal. Delighted with it.

Perfect for airplane
Bought it for our trip to Romania. Had absolutely no problem at the airport and is big enough for our French bulldog with room to spare as well. The fact that is has wheels is great, although maybe reconsider a longer handle in order to be able to pull it without it being very uncomfortable. It’s very sturdy and impossible for the dog to open the door.

Bought for travel
In line with regulations bought this carrier which was easy to assemble. As our dog has never been in any form of crate and in preparation of our trip we firstly kept the lid off, placed his bed in the crate and he was happy to go in. We have since placed the lid on and door and again very happy.

Sturdy design
Quick delivery, nice and sturdy. Only thing instructions not clear enough had to Google and even then took time to figure it out.Basically put the door in first the top goes on not at the end and the clips have to be fiddled with to clip into place but once you get it, it’s easy after that. Exactly what we needed to fly dogs
Good, sturdy crates, needed ton fly our dogs with Agean airlines, these were perfect. Solid to keep the dogs safe but not too heavy. Came with the wheels but can’t use them on flights so haven’t tried putting them on. Easily assembled and taken apart.The solid clips as well as metal bolts meant we were confident that the dogs were safelying secured. Would definitely recommend.

Sturdy carrier but I gave it 4 stars due to the front opening, with other carriers you can take it off to make access easier but once this is put together you’re unable to remove it, but overall compared to other carriers in pet shops this offers great value for money

Sturdy carrier which easily held my cocker spaniel. Good value for money
Nice carrier which is solid at a good price. I chose the large size which had wheels and easily held my cocker spaniel. Air Malta did not object to the wheels so I did not have to remove them for flying (they are spring loaded so this isn’t a problem) . This was really handy as dog + carrier was heavyThe sole bad point (probably me as I am dumb) is that the clips to put together the box are not self evident to fit. Reasonably easy when you’ve done one.

This is amazing value for the money. I have spent several weeks searching for a suitable travel crate to use in my car, for my extremely reactive rescue dog. I am SO glad that I chose this one. It’s very very sturdy and solid and has the extra height that I was seeking for her. Excellent quality and value – a godsend in my case!FYI I bought an XL. My dog is a hound, about the size of a Dalmatian. Her length is 33” from nose to base (not tip) of tail and her sitting height is 26”.

Good Quality
Nice quality mouldings and door mesh. Door locks easy to use but positive engagement will not open by accident. We bought the XS smallest one sure he (our new kitten) will outgrow it but for £25 I’m not bothered. Tiny criticism: the upper and lower halves can be misaligned at the door until you put the bolts in and tighten them after lining the 2 halves up. Pity they didn’t cast locating lugs in but not to worry the bolts sort this and anyway it’s a cosmetic niggle and a small one at that and as said has been easily resolved. Overall very happy with what I got for my money!

Perfect kennel xl for golden retriever
Good product xl is perfect for golden retriever 2 year old, the plastic material is quiet strong assembling was a bit struggling the item it comes without the instructions book but finally we get on it, about travelling is okay from the house to the car but no big distance because is not really handy you can’t fully control the cage also if your tall person you have to bend over .. if it had telescopic handle and with the brake control for the wheels was amazing product for travel.

This is perfect for my toy poodle
This is perfect for my toy poodle. He has enough room to walk in and turnaround. I researched this purchase via reviews mostly, there were so many to choose from. This was a great choice – robust, easy to put together, well designed and best of all my dog likes it.The only thing which is a little annoying is that if you leave the door open (my dog uses the crate as his safe place during the day sometimes so comes and goes as he pleases), it does close itself to. Not really a problem as my dog just nudges it open again.

Would recommend, even with niggles!
Looks great, has wheels (xl crate) and two handles on top to help you push/pull it along. No sharp edges.Negatives: only 2 wheels lock, two of the bolts cannot be added as the base shape/mold interferes with wing nut ‘wings’. (However you could use standard nuts.) There are unclear instructions for the plastic clips.

Effective transport crate
Bought it to take one of my labs to Portugal. It worked really well. Make sure you buy it early to crate train dog. My dogs are used to being in a cage. They see this are their space. Crate because of degree of enclosure crate is very different. I spent 4 weeks training dog by feeding him in crate. The XL has wheels. These are easy to attach and remove. Remove for flight

Lovely with all the bells and whistles
I bought this box to be compliant for use on a long-haul international trip on AirFrance or Air Brussels. We haven’t made the trip yet but I was very pleased that the package came with removable wheels, bolts with plastic nuts, the plastic connectors, and a bowl that fits with the door. I haven’t actually assembled the whole box yet (we’re training the dog starting with the bottom half).

Did the job
Used this for transporting a cat on a 7 hour door to door trip. Our cat was happy enough, plenty of room. The carrier is sturdy and with the locking mechanism no chance of kitty escaping. It didn’t come with the bolts that you use to secure the top and bottom, a requirement for travelling by plane, but I was able to get these elsewhere easily.

Just what I needed for my UK to USA flight!
This crate is perfect and meets all the airline requirements. My biggest advice is to order it with enough time, set it up, and let your dog get used to it. My dog is crate trained but will not willingly go in. We left this out and he didn’t approach it for the first week, and we didn’t force him in. After the first week, I think my dog thought it was a new bed cave, and he started going in to hang out and sleep. It made the journey much smoother.We traveled on a private flight. Based on the flight requirements, snub-nosed dogs needed an extra 3 inches of space to the set rules. So, I went with large for my 30lb french bulldog. It was definitely a bit big for his size, but it worked for the rules and what we needed.I ordered “live animals” stickers and an extra bowl separately.

Not cheap but excellent
I took my Labrador X to Turkey in this crate. He had a four hour flight plus the time waiting for departure then the arrivals procedureWhen he got out in Istanbul’s airport he was as fresh as a daisy. The crate was way too big for him so he travelled in a business class crate 😂

I found it easy to fit together, sturdy and a nice size for my cat.
I brought this carrier as my cat has learnt how to open the door on the traditional carriers and so let’s herself out from her old one in a matter of minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy I found this carrier to fit together and I found the instructions easy to follow. My cat has not been in it yet, but I am hopeful that she won’t find a way to open the door of this one, it has a spring lock which seems secure. The carrier is sturdy and a nice large size for my little cat and so far I am pleased with my purchase.

Sturdy and safe
I have had good use out of this carrier is short space of time. It’s very secure, easy to close and secure the door. This size is perfect for my average size cat, plenty of room for her to stand up and turn around. Easy to clean. Fits ok into the front seat of my car and can be secured with a seat belt.A top opening door would make it perfect and give more options for getting our cat in and out.

useful car transit box
Impressed so far . Bought this to go in two different cars and to keep the muck from the dogs in the box much easier than in a wire crate.It goes on the back seat of a 5 door citroen c1 ..you have to assemble in the car but that’s easy enough just using the clips. I then secure with the seat belts. Also fits in one side of my volvo v70 estate. Ideal when you need to carry other items. I have a full trans k9 crate in the volvo normally, but when camping etc its useful to have some extra space
